Neural Zoomer

[ NEW-ruhl ZOO-mer ]

Neural Zoomer is a test using antibody-to-antigen recognition of certain proteins in serum that could be associated with neurological autoimmune diseases. This test checks the health of myelin, peripheral nerve health, blood-brain barrier integrity, infections that can cause neurological inflammation, and overall brain autoimmunity. It can assist providers with early detection of dysfunction and help patients take preventative measures.

Neural Zoomer Plus is similar to the Neural Zoomer test in that it also uses antibody-to-antigen recognition of certain proteins in serum that could be associated with neurological autoimmune diseases. This test also checks the health of myelin, peripheral nerve health, blood-brain barrier integrity, and overall brain autoimmunity. However, it is much more extensive and includes a quantitative analysis of receptor proteins for neurotransmitters, glial function, amyloid beta and tau, voltage-gated channels, and an in-depth analysis of infections that can cause neurological inflammation. This test can more thoroughly assist providers with early detection of dysfunction and help patients take preventative measures.
